The Alabama Department of Public Health’s latest data shows the state added 3,986 COVID-19 cases since yesterday with 41 deaths. Since March 2020, the state has recorded 627,905 cases and 11,765 deaths.
Mobile County saw the greatest increase at 593, followed by Jefferson County at 582.
As of Friday, the state has 2,430 people hospitalized with COVID-19.
The following are the latest county-by-county case numbers. The first figure is the total number of cases since March 2020. The second is the increase from the previous day.
